Electrical Journeyman


Mountain Consulting, Inc. is a growing construction company, and we are looking for talented people to join our team. MCI has an immediate opening for an experienced Electrical Journeyman that is willing to travel for extended periods to assist in our continued growth needs. Mountain Consulting, Inc. is seeking motivated candidates for electrical installation projects performed for a variety of public agencies and private clients. The successful candidate is expected to perform the following: Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems such as fire alarms or other low voltage systems, motor controls, electrical distribution panels, lighting, and power systems. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Installing power supply wiring and conduit such as EMT, Rigid conduit, MC cable, Romex cable
  • Troubleshooting electrical components, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems such as fire alarms or other low voltage systems, motor controls, electrical distribution panels, lighting, and power systems
  • Testing of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, ability to use a multi-meter, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system
Qualifications/Required Attributes
  • 3-5 years of experience in residential/commercial electrical
  • Ability to follow electrical code and manuals to install and repair electrical systems
  • Understand schematic diagrams, blueprints, red-lining, as-builts, and other specifications required by our client
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods
  • Strong communication, written, and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
