Estimator
Mountain Consulting, Inc. is a growing construction company, and we are looking for talented people to join our team. MCI has an immediate opening for an experienced construction estimator. The estimator is responsible for estimating the work of projects by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. The estimator will with work the Sales team and Program Managers to develop winning proposals for various customers. Mountain Consulting, Inc. is seeking motivated candidates for projects performed for a variety of public agencies and private clients. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
- Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications/Required Attributes
Previous working experience as a construction estimator for (1-3) years Experience with estimating software and spreadsheet integration Hands-on experience with complex data research activities Good understanding of data analysis methods and KPIs Good time-management skills Ability to multi-task Strong interpersonal and communication skills Critical-thinker and problem-solver.
